1933 Redux? JournoList member connected to Ayers, Dohrn; others advocated Net Censorship

Just when you thought the MSM cabal could not possibly stoop any lower than to collude with its fellow reporters on the infamous JournoList about how to spin each day’s news so that it painted Obama and his band of merry Leftists in the most positive light humanly possible, while sliming any or all of their opposition; today we learn that there is a Weather Underground connection:

Among the individuals who were part of the controversial JournoList e-mail group were activists who served on an editorial board alongside Weather Underground terror group founders William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, WND has learned.

Also, it has emerged that other members of JournoList were activists from a far-left think tank with close ties to a Marxist-founded, George Soros-funded group that petitions for more government control of the Internet.

Other than that it was just a normal, happy-go-lucky discussion board of citizens like you and me… and, oh I don’t know–Herr Goebbels

In all seriousness, if you are unaware of the background of Ayers and Dohrn (most people are not aware of what they actually were contemplating…), or that Ayers today remains completely unrepentant about his beliefs and actions, you should not miss the opportunity to read this chilling account of their manifesto

These are the types of individuals who have been hiding in the shadows and pulling out all the stops to influence what you read in the papers and watch on the “news” each night, to the point of collusion with reporters at places like the New York TimesWashington Post, Rolling Stone, etc… and with talking heads at MSNBC, CNN, et al–about which stories to “bury” each day, how to succeed in misdirection/changing the subject and especially on how to spin controversial topics in favor of their champion, Barack Obama.

If you’ve never bothered to look behind the Ayers curtain, you really are depriving yourself if you deny yourself the horrifying vision contained in Bob Owens‘ link to Prairie Fire–the Weather Underground’s manifesto, written by Ayers (who is also rumored to have been the actual author of “Dreams of My Father”).

If you took the time to read the material in the links above–and if you understood it–then ponder this fact very seriously: Barack Obama held his very first campaign event for public office in the home of the author of that Prairie Fire document, Bill Ayers and his lovely wife, the cop-killer Bernardine Dohrn.  Peas in a pod.  Just chew on that one for a while….

In closing, it is only proper that our little trip down memory lane be punctuated by some of Joseph Goebbels’ more àpropos quotes; because judging by what we have seen thus far, it is no big stretch to surmise that our elected leaders have actually adopted these as ‘Standard Operating Procedure’:

  • “It is the absolute right of the State to
supervise the formation of public opinion.”
  • “…the rank and file are usually much more
primitive than we imagine. Propaganda must
therefore always be essentially simple and repetitious.
The most brilliant propagandist technique will
yield no success unless one fundamental principle
is borne in mind constantly…it must confine itself
to a few points and repeat them over and over.”
  • “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it,
people will eventually come to believe it. The
lie can be maintained only for such time as the
State can shield the people from the political,
economic and/or military consequences of the
lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the
State to use all of its powers to repress dissent,
for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie,
and thus by extension, the truth is the
    greatest enemy of the State.”
  • “Intellectual activity is a danger
    to the building of character.”
  • My, how far we have come since the days of Nazi Germany…
